Project Description
This modest residence is located in one of the most densely populated residential suburbs of the Mysore city. The is designed as introverted residence to avoid public interference and provide privacy to the residents from the busy movement of crowd, as this is very close to prominent public spaces. The house is lit buy a double height Skylight that runs through the entire width of the house, starting from entrance foyer and culminating towards the Puja. The light, shadow, reflections from skylight varying throughout the day is the highlight. The master bedroom in first floor was designed as duplex room opening towards Landscape Terrace, housing the Study. The terrace was designed to house a semi covered space with tiled roof and Athangudi floor tiles for socializing. This terrace had view of the Mysore Palace at a distance. The view of the palace was a sight to enjoy from this terrace.
