Project Description
An Elegant and a simple design planned to accommodate the daily lifestyle of the client. The only request the client had for us before we started designing the residence was that they needed a centrally located Puja in vernacular style and a space in the rear for frequent gathering of people to sing and perform Puja-Aradhana’s frequently. Rest all was left for us to design with a very moderate budget.
The actual site turned out to be a stone quarry, sitting in front of a small hillock with a highend highrise residential towers being built on the rocky hillock towards the backdrop. Hence the massing was worked with an abstraction to the elements behind along with the rocks that were collected from the foundation work.
