A traditional ‘COURTYARD HOUSE’.
This project was conceived as a leisure Farm house in the outskirts of Bangalore. The clients wanted the feel of the bygone Era - traditional courtyard house with a feel of their yesteryears. The materials & the finishes were sourced accordingly to suit their requirements. A modest attempt to capture the current needs in a traditional design. Materials & finishes: Walls & Floor: Hollow Clay bricks, Local natural Granite, Traditional tiles & Oxide cement Flooring. Doors, Windows & Artifacts: Sourced From recycled traditional Chettinad bungalows. Traditional Warli Art work
